William Manley, Founder and CEO, founded Calare Properties and is its senior investment professional. Mr. Manley has been involved in managing real estate investments since 1990, beginning as an active participant in family investments led by Albert Manley. Early in the 1990s, Mr. Manley recognized the opportunities emerging in the commercial real estate market in the Northeast. During this period, Mr. Manley developed a very successful investment philosophy. This investment process includes the identification, acquisition, property management, and adaptive re-use of opportunistic real estate investments. Mr. Manley is a volunteer and former board member of various charitable organizations. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Boston University.
Robert Flynn, Principal, Director of Operations and Asset Management, directs property operations for Calare's real estate investments, including property management, development, and tenant operations. Prior to joining Calare, Mr. Flynn was responsible for overseeing the communications needs of a multi-owner portfolio of properties exceeding $500MM in total value. Mr. Flynn brings eighteen years of property management , construction management, leasing and sales experience to Calare. He earned a Bachelors' Degree in English from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Brian Poitras, Principal, Director of Portfolio Management, directs portfolio management, capital market activity, compliance, legal and business operations for Calare and its portfolio investments, and brings fifteen years of entrepreneurship and investment experience. Most recently, Mr. Poitras was Founder and President of Spider Web Hosting Solutions, one of the largest internet service providers in New England. He successfully led the company to a merger with an industry competitor, resulting in a 10x return on capital for its investors. In the early 1990s Mr. Poitras was a key member of the management team that grew a small equipment manufacturer 300% in five years and earned Inc. magazine's “Inc500” designation. Active in philanthropy, Mr. Poitras is member of the Board of Trustees of Summit Montessori School. Mr. Poitras is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
